About
Arakawa City's library and cultural complex, about ten minutes' walk from Machiya Station: a large, bright, wood-lined building that also houses the Yoshimura Akira memorial literature museum, a haiku corner, a hall and a children's area. There is a café, eating and drinking are allowed in separate social areas and on the terraces, and it is livelier than a traditional library; study seats fill up by late morning.
