About

The historic national library in the Palazzo di Brera, next to the Pinacoteca, with a grand reading room of wooden shelves and chandeliers that is free and open to all for study. Bags must go in the downstairs lockers, which take a coin, and you register at the entrance for an entry slip; it sometimes closes for half the day, so check the schedule.
